Halloween Time

We decided to venture out this year for Halloween. Our good friends- Tim and Kristin John- hosted a costume party. We had a great time with good eats, games, and time with friends.

We were Darla and Alfalfa from The Little Rascals

just down the street...

Today was a perfect fall day. 60 degrees, sunny and colorful leaves everywhere. We thought we'd take some pictures around the neighborhood and show you one of the greatest times of the year in Virginia!

Fall

Our porch overlooking the street...

Fall...we love the fall here in Virginia. The streets are lined with red and golden trees. One of our favorites sits right outside our window, enjoyed by us with a nice cup of coffee on the patio. The reflection from our mirror paints the walls cheerfully red.

We ushered in the Fall with a nice vacation to Florida, spending time with both sides our of families. My new job was kind enough to give me some time off to make the trip.

Nearing the end of summer I started my new job as a Professional Advisor at Liberty. Now, with school in full swing students are lining up for appointments. It is really exciting to talk with students as they eagerly plan out the next 4 years of their life.

Tim and I have been enjoying the fact that we both work at Liberty. We happen to be just down the hall from one another. Riding to work together is nice...but sometimes a little quiet...I'm not really a wide-eyed talkative morning person.

As the leaves change, we look forward to see what change comes in this season of life together.

Changes to the Apartment...

Tim and I decided 'the study' was too cluttered, so we de-cluttered. We moved my desk and chair to the basement. I don't really use it anyways and if I do need a desk I will use Tim's- it's nice! We reorganized the shelves and got rid of somethings we don't need. We are selling a number of unwanted or double copies of books on LUBay.

More Snow Fun

Here are some more pictures from our snow day! Lynchburg received up to 14 inches of snow!

That was pretty deep!
Sledding on the saucer!

Sarah stuck in the snow!

Stuck car getting pulled out.

People don't always do the brightest things... like running in the snow with spandex shorts.

Sarah just had mouthful!

Snow Day!

It snowed 10 inches last night and the third wave is coming in right now which means no work for either of us! We are going sledding after we get enough coffee in us. Everything is shut down with this load of snow, as central Virginia rarely gets this much snow.

Tim's once  Florida car!

This is the Episcopalian Church right next to our house.

Sarah decided to get out of bed!
The cafe across the street from our house.
No one is out yet. Just some crazy Floridian.

Our Place

Since we are so bad about posting pictures, we finally decided on this snowy night to post a photo collage of our place. So there is Fall, Christmas and Spring pictures in case you think we are one of those people who keep their Christmas tree up until Spring break. Most of these don't even have our wall hangings up so we apologize ahead of time for having outdated photos.
Stay tuned... Spring is almost here!
