just down the street...

Today was a perfect fall day. 60 degrees, sunny and colorful leaves everywhere. We thought we'd take some pictures around the neighborhood and show you one of the greatest times of the year in Virginia!

Fall

Our porch overlooking the street...

Fall...we love the fall here in Virginia. The streets are lined with red and golden trees. One of our favorites sits right outside our window, enjoyed by us with a nice cup of coffee on the patio. The reflection from our mirror paints the walls cheerfully red.

We ushered in the Fall with a nice vacation to Florida, spending time with both sides our of families. My new job was kind enough to give me some time off to make the trip.

Nearing the end of summer I started my new job as a Professional Advisor at Liberty. Now, with school in full swing students are lining up for appointments. It is really exciting to talk with students as they eagerly plan out the next 4 years of their life.

Tim and I have been enjoying the fact that we both work at Liberty. We happen to be just down the hall from one another. Riding to work together is nice...but sometimes a little quiet...I'm not really a wide-eyed talkative morning person.

As the leaves change, we look forward to see what change comes in this season of life together.
